I used to feed this food once upon a time before I started diving into the world of nutrition. I liked the fact that there was no corn in it and my dogs all did okay on it. It was really a step up from the IAMS that we had started out feeding and IMO is better than a lot of other foods like Pedigree...

Just a word of caution about Pet Meds and other places like them. I work at a vet. clinic and we're not allowed to even talk to Pet Meds when they call to verify prescriptions for our clients. If our clients insist on using Pet Meds, we will write them a prescription and they can pick it up and mail...

Thanks for the advice Mtlu! I didn't consider the protein difference when I bought the food, so that may very well be the problem. I bought a bag of TOTW yesterday and this variety has something like 24% protein so maybe it will be easier on her stomach.

Trying to find the perfect diet is about to drive me insane and I need some advice! I've just upgraded the dog's food from Nature's Recipe Lamb and Rice (Felony has problems with corn, and yeasty feet etc. so it was a step up from the IAMS that our vet had her on at the time) to Nature's Variety Ins...

Hmm...I guess you're talking about my Vegas. He's still in need of a great home, but he's otherwise doing wonderful. I have some new pictures coming soon (we have a ton of pics from his first Christmas) and as soon as I get them off of my camera, I'll post them in his thread. Vegas is a wonderful gu...

We've tried lots of other balls such as exercise balls etc. and nothing has been able to last very long. We're currently buying those huge colorful balls from Wal-mart for about 2.50 per ball, and wrapping them with several layers of duct tape. They provide a very fun toy for a whole 10 minutes. HA...

I went to the Boomer Ball site, but the biggest boomer ball I can find is 10 inches. Does anyone know where I can find the 14 inch one or bigger if possible? I would really like the ball to be much bigger than a basketball/soccer ball. they have 20 inch and 31 inch on the site http://www.boomerball...

Pblove - The hubby is fine. We've been through this so much now that we have a routine down pat. I gave him 2 benadryl when he was stung, took him right to the ER and they gave him a shot of steroids. At least your dogs tries to avoid the bees. Felony seems to think that they make a tasty snack and ...

I hate yellowjackets. I have apple and pear trees so they love my place. My husband is allergic to them (we had to rush him to the ER a few days ago when he got stung as a matter of fact,) and Felony gets at least one sting every summer. I put up the yellowjacket traps and they seem to help a little...

It also doesn't hurt to check out Old Navy once in awhile. The one by me has doggy shirts and coats that are pretty cute. They seem to have them in around holidays more than any other time. The prices aren't too bad on them....if you look you can usually find them on clearance too. I have about 5 or...

Not sure how much this applies considering I don't have a white dog but... Felony's coat did some weird color changing of it's own. As a puppy until she was about 8 months old she had a lot more black around her face and a black stripe running all the way down her back along her spine into her black...
