total guess but perhaps it is because a dog swaets through his mouth so perhaps when it is sweating (but not too hot) it is released through the sides of the mouth as opposed to panting all day.... it could also have something to do with a dogs salivating glands as well... but again its a total gues...

hmmm.... ive read a few times that compulsive paw-licking is an indication of an allergy (but i cant remember where so i'm not gonna give a definite here at all) never heard of this drug tho so i googled it and found that a lot of companies recommend it... hope that helps to ease your worries........

try localharvest.org.... i think its like 11-12 bucks tho (like it said its a lil pricey) if you can find it cheaper than let me know... usually a couple squirts and a rub down everyday for a week will do the trick, and they spray will last a few months also... goodluck

ive found that any type of soap/shampoo with essence of lavender actually helps a ton to get rid of skin irritation.... also if u dont wanna spend too much you could try lemon juice, but it dries out their skin if used too much..... but IMHO essence of lavender is golden....
