Re: To Cook Bones or not, that is the question?!

SO, my question to you all is, do you cook your bones or serve them uncooked, and why? [/color]

Raw bones and never cooked pork bones.

To be on the safe side, I would taker her to the vet. If it's been a few days since she tore it off they will probably not be able to stich it up (if it even needs it). The wound could have all kinds of nasty stuff packed in there. The vet can flush it and make sure no infection starts.

Beneful is almost all grain and corn is way up at the top of the list. Your dog is not a vegetarian.

What an idiot! Poor dog. I've used pressure sprayers to knock paint off buildings and cement floors. There's a reason there are large warning signs all over them. The big ones can cut just about anything.

Wasn't someone looking for a Staffy Bull?

Here's a Staffy in Columbia, MO. Older and has had a few litters.

We feed Liesel twice a day. Six am and 5-6 pm. We fed our old Weim once a day in the morning and that dog was always begging for something at dinner and was VERY INSISTANT on us getting up at 5 am to feed her.

My personal experience with Wellness is that it makes my dog gassy. She is almost done with the bag (Super 5 Mix). I was feeding her Innova chicken or lamb, I don't remember which, but I will probably put her back on it. Her coat stayed nice and shiny and it was easy to keep her at a good weight wit...

Welcome to the Pit Bull Forum. I put my critter on a 25' cable tether when she's in the yard. That keeps her from strolling off.

Just last week I had to chase Lilith around the house to try to get a yellow jacket away from her! lol It scared me to death! I managed to get it though, before she ate much of it. I hope Bonneville is okay! Hey, remember those crazy bees on my deck? Yep, they are male carpenter bees. Looks like my...

Open her mouth and shove the pill as far back as you can get it. She'll swallow it. Wash the slime off your hands. lol The trick is to do it all in one motion. After awhile she won't even realize you've done it.

Wether its a Bumble Bee (fuzzy) or a Carpenter Bee (smooth but similar colors) the Queen and the workers sting. The males do not. Either she ate a little man or the sting didn't bother her. If she got stung she would be working her mouth and you would notice it. Any reaction would happen pretty fast.

Our Weimaraner had tons of fatty tumors. She lived to be 14 years old. We never had them removed because most of them came on at a very late age and the vet did not recommend putting her under to remove them unless they started crowding internal organs. She had one under her left front leg that beca...

Do bigtime shows, say like Westminster, test for sterility/fertility? I personally don't see why a dog has to be intact other than for physical developement.
