Bean has Pancreatitis

Was hoping to get some good thoughts for my Bean. Been a tough 6 mos for the dude and now we are hospitalized for pancreatitis. Thankfully I can do most of it at home as I can take everything home. http://img.tapatalk.com/42574b98-08da-b0b0.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/42574b98-0903-a7fe.jpg Hes a to...

Re: Seriously?!?!? Tanner Bean has cancer

So the verdict is in and it is a Grade II MCT with clean margins. I really have mixed emotions about this. Obviously I wanted a Grade I with clean margins and technically this is next best BUT I am just waiting for the other shoe to fall. I always have the dogs that are in the minority, in the small...

Re: Seriously?!?!? Tanner Bean has cancer

Thanks everyone. Ultrasound was clean today and he came through surgery fine. He got off the table kind of late so he is still sleeping it off on my bed but he is good and has some great pain control . Histopath wont be back til the end of next week or after the new year because of fedex not doing d...

Seriously?!?!? Tanner Bean has cancer

2 days from us putting James down for lymphoma, we find out my Bean has Mast Cell. The tech in me knows it could be worse but the mom in me is really really having a real HARD time with this. Bean has been off for a couple months now and we attributed it to his jaw infection (which I never posted ab...

Update on Sweet Baby James....said our goodbyes

In just 30 days we lost James to Lymphoma, a Lymphoma that is supposed to be slow moving. For James it was not. With me and Tiffany (my rescue partner) by his side, we said our goodbyes, but of course not before ice cream and a couple lbs of Christmas ham. James symbolized many things to us and was ...

Re: Damien has heartworms. :(

We've been able to treat all our HW + dogs. You just have to talk with the company and tell them you have a positive dog. They usually send a whole box which can treat 2 dogs of moderate size.

UPDATE T Zone Lymphoma...close to saying goodbye

For the James fans out there we are needing your thoughts. The old man stopped eating Fri and two more nodes have popped since with some coughing. His foster momma has decided against chemo and we are going to be keeping him comfortable as long as we can. He is coming in tomorrow so we can go over a...

Re: Paradoxical reaction to Xanax (alprazolam)

My dog that has the reaction to xanax had a reaction to ket/val induction, as soon as she could physically stand it was on. More then just being dysphoric too, like bouncing off the damn ceiling.

Re: T Zone Lymphoma......any experiences?

Thanks all for your well wishes! We got some great news at the oncologist. We took aspirates of the spleen from nodules that we found and they were just reactive cells probably from his Babesia, so not lymphoma. No other nodes are affected and there is absolutely no telling when and if another node ...

Re: T Zone Lymphoma......any experiences?

I'm able to treat without donations, it will just wipe my low cost spay and neuter fund, which im ok with. People come on here quite frequently and ask for help for their own dogs, why not a rescue? This is not T cell. This is a rare form of slower acting lymphoma. This dog also comes to work freque...

T Zone Lymphoma......any experiences?

We removed a 'growth' from BHMSR's perma foster James this past week and once we got in we realized it was a lymph node and the histopath came back TZone Lymphoma :( James is around 14yrs old and the oldest guy that was pulled from the MO500 bust. He has been doing fabulous in hospice and now this. ...

Re: Petella Luxation

Kal has both knees that luxate. We have seen the specialist and she told me to leave them as she still is an insane crazy girl who can jump a 6ft fence in a single bound. Now, when and if she becomes painful enough to inhibit her........then we will talk surgery. For now, nothing keeps this girly do...
