I feed it to my two dogs, the original (with the grains) and they love it. I switch it off with the trout once in awhile. I think they look great, shiny coats and all...my favorite part is not going to the store to get food, delivery is the best.

I am so sorry for Tucker. I hope he had a peaceful death, and that someone was holding his paw. I hope the rescue, if there is anyone else part of it on this board, provides some more insight into whatever they are doing and why. :frown: http://www.pitbullforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=67533&start=30

I'm a little confused, after doing some digging from your earlier posts - which rescue were you originally part of, http://www.rescueabull.org or http://www.fortheloveofpits.org? Seems like they are now one and the same, since rescueabull redirects to fortheloveofpits. Regardless, their "Profes...

I was feeling a little sorry for LL, but now all my sympathy is with you, your dog and the poor defenseless cat. Any chance of getting hold of the son in college? If he could get you a copy of the will, he had it in his will that rent would never go up for existing tenants and we could not be made t...

Try Cascade Kennels - not sure where they are in Washington, but they housed some Katrina pits for several months for Pasado's ... might get pricey for you, but hey, whatever it takes. I know it's not a home, but it was a very nice refuge for the pit bulls when they were there.

I am so sorry for you, for everyone involved, especially the cat. HUGS! You're right about a declawed cat should never be outside, but it wouldn't have mattered if the poor thing had claws, cats aren't much defense against a dog. I just wish you much luck finding a new place to live and hope you can...

You've already got some great suggestions, but this one thing really jumped out at me.... Well, Guage is chained up out the back so when people come over, it isn't a problem. ( ).. but I can always ask visitors to go out there to pet him just so I can teach him not to jump. I would not, send people ...

Doggie DNA Reveals Mutt's Identity

Very interesting story....wasn't sure if it belonged here or in Press, but since it's not a story about pit bulls (yet - can you just imagine if insurance co's start requiring "mixes" to get tested so they can discriminate)....but I really wonder if this can work. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA...

More on the Costco poisoned dry dog food ... I'm very disappointed in Costco for not being more proactive, given the thousands of dead and sick pets that have already happened. Seriously, who do you trust anymore. But good for this vet who stuck to his guns to find out if it was the food: Two of the...

She did an accidental double post intro - this is her first one....Alameda is the bay area, between Berkeley / SF. My name is Kate and I'm a volunteer at the city of Alameda Animal Shelter. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right area but feel free to tell me if I'm not. We have wonderful, sweet Pit...

Hi Kate - and double welcome, glad you found it here. Just a heads up, you only get to post one intro and then wait until the mods get around to granting you access to the rest of the forum. Once they do, you'll need to repost your intro for the dog on the Rescue section. Such a sad story, I wish we...

I think you have to request the vet do a very specific thyroid checkup.... this is from the Beyond NILIF post from someone else... If your dog shows one or more of the following symptoms, take him to your vet and ask about doing a six function plus TSH thyroid test , before you start the Mind Games....

One thought is donating to United Animal Nation's PMU Rescue - they are one of the spearheading groups trying to save the premarin victims (mares and their babies). You can find more about PMU at their website, www.uan.org - they are reputable.

Awesome request from your family!

I tried searching for groups that provide veterinary care for homeless and their pets (we do here in Sacramento sponsored by UC Davis) but Dallas is apparently not doing anything like that. But I did find these - try them all, they might have suggestions for you. Try contacting this group - they hav...
