Yep, and Blue Buffalo has been questioned about the rice gluten in their foods, they have refused to respond. Silence is deafening.

Since our wonderful FDA is allowing the companies who received and are using the tainted rice gluten to come forward on their own, we are on our own about what to feed, whether they have or have not been recalled yet. Check out the Itchmo site, the growing list of food products that do contain rice ...

It sure seems like something is up - and all fingers point back to China. Gotta love that whole free trade thing. http://tinyurl.com/2u3fn3 Anyway, users on the Itchmo site are going a great job at posting all the foods made with rice gluten (and I saw lots of corn gluten). Wellness has several diff...

Yes, supposedly that particular batch is just in SA. But who really knows, we're all finding out new ones every day it seems.

I personally think these five companies in question now will wait until Friday afternoon before the weekend to announce who they are.

There are so many threads, but I figure this is the best place. Corn Gluten, Rice Protein, Wheat Gluten - all from CHINA. WTH, why are we allowing our pets (and likely ourselves) to ingest anything from China. http://www.702.co.za/news/news.asp Royal Canin reveals toxin in pet food Royal Canin South...

We were inside...bldg 12 on the back wall, we had the two gigantic pit bull beach towels on eitherside of the Villalobos Rescue sign. Next to us were the Staffy Bulls, they were so cute. Cesar Millan's booth was in our same row but further down....

Hey, thanks - I'm going to check into Felidae (the cat version) tonight. Interesting that the rep said to be aware of the vegetable source of protein seeing that Natural Balance is recalling foods because they enhanced the protein source with rice powder, which turns out is from China and tainted wi...

Yes, Nutro Max canned cat food

I was just going to post about this story, breaking in California. Thank goodness this woman was on top of her cat's illness, and had a great vet willing to get the food tested AND willing to reveal the results. Too bad that Nutro Max was contacted back in January by a pet owner whose two cats DIED ...

I've not tried the accupuncture, but I have tried the Accuscope, which is some kind of electrical stimulus thing on my horse and I know that works. It doesn't cure, it helps stimulate the blood vessels and circulation and pulls out the swelling and as a result reduces the pain. Our horse had arthrit...

It's actually over 3,000 self-reported dead, over 9,092 total affected SO FAR. The FDA has received calls over 10,000 but has not investigated them yet. Those 14-15-16 deaths were from Menu Foods taste test going on and were never the real numbers. Now that ChemNutra has finally come clean about the...

Just me, but I would stop feeding that food now if it's such a dramatic effect, especially with the recalls going on and more and more foods being implicated. The FDA is now investigating all wheat gluten in human food supply from that :po: Chinese company.

Missk....they could really use some of your thoughts on the http://www.petconnection.com forum. There have been ALOT of pets reported dying eating Eukanuba, Nutro and Iams, Hills was just recently reported as well as Ol Roy and Alpo. All of a sudden, now Alpo is being recalled too? I think that ther...

I'm so sorry...but I'm glad that you were doing the necropsy. So many owners lost their pets before the recall even started and they have no way now of proving their loss. I doubt the FDA will ever count their lives as part of this disaster. Hang in there, I'm sure this isn't over either...I wish it...

This is just so damn sad....over 2,000 pets reported "unoffically" to one website. I hope anyone who has lost a pet to this is getting through to the FDA's "official" reporting site to make sure their voices are heard. I am sick to death of hearing 15 pets died when we know it is...
