Re: Peanut Butter to go :)

Oopsie.
I meant to order 2 oz. gotoobs, but I ordered the 3 oz. ones.
Oh well. :))

Mine should be here by tomorrow (hopefully), and I can try them out, too, and let you know what I think.

Ella's Lead has narrower pink rope. YAY!

Yep. We got a 3/8" MFP rope in pink. This is a different style MFP rope and is a bit softer than our usual MFP ropes. It'll fit nicely into our small lead clamps. And it's pretty. So, here is the pink rope everyone has been asking me about for over 3 years! :)) http://k.b5z.net/i/u/6112056/i/pd...

Re: Custom Leash and Martingale Collar

I've never made anything like this, though I've had requests for them.
Now I know who to refer folks to!

Your first picture gave me an idea (not to do with leather or rope, though) for Luke!

Re: martingale collars

martingale collars should NOT slip off.
That's the whole reason martingale collars exist, so that dogs cannot back out of them. :))

Re: Leather chain martingales-Collar Mania

Those are some SWEET looking leather chain martingales you have there, Lisa! I remember when you made Ella one when we needed one for her training sessions as a backup collar. That was, what, 2006? Yeah, it was!!! Because it was right before the new year and it was, like, our second training session...

Re: oh lord...embarrassing injestion....

Uh, I am CONSTANTLY paranoid that one of my two pups is going to get an obstruction of sorts that will require surgery and when they get the surgery, they'll pull out some COMPLETELY humiliating. Because no matter what I do, my two have an obsession with finding sanitary napkins (can't flush those!)...

Re: Ella's Lead: Lead sale!

oh, I think with his fawn/red coloring (with its warm tones), that brass definitely would look sharp on him.

And it's a good thing Chase is a male and not a female because I have new pink rope coming next week. lol

Ok, I took a few photos of him.
Taking photos in snow is really difficult. It's soooo hard for me to get the white balance right.
Here's a link to the posted photos.

Re: When can I expect Luke not to look like a lanky fool?

Arnold is an adult and although he filled out up until 3 years (I swear his head spread and his thighs grew) he's still very leggy. Much of this is suspect to very early neutering as it can be associated supposedly with lankier bodies. In the end though he grew up to be a handsome devil if you ask ...

Re: When can I expect Luke not to look like a lanky fool?

Oh, I got some pictures. Turns out it was snow, not rain, so I took him out and got some photos of him.
He likes being in the snow far more than Ophie does.

I have to PP them this afternoon and then I'll post them up.

When can I expect Luke not to look like a lanky fool?

hehehehe. Luke has always had more legs than anything else. He's looked "awkward" since he was 4 months old. Then I THOUGHT his body was catching up with his legs, and then I awoke one morning to find that he looks lankier now than EVER. We recently started transitioning the pups to adult ...

Re: Ella's Lead: Lead sale!

Umm, I think silver woulda looked better. But you bought it not me. I love it tho. It is a beauty Hahahahaha. 1. I love how you guys do your husband and wife conversing in threads. It's neat. 2. Blue can easily go either way, imo, with brass or silver. Blue is a cool color, so is silver, but brass ...

Re: Ella's Lead: Lead sale!

These are the new ropes I added: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs045.ash2/35624_184805964881130_100000551831358_560269_7712913_n.jpg I had made a lead for Ella out of the white when she was alive, and I used it all the time. It cleans up nicely with either a cloth or tossing into a pil...
