Feeding amount...bag says feed ALOT more

Ever since i got Lucy at 9 weeks old i have always fed her by eye, not by the reccomendations on the bag, i just keep an eye on her weight...etc etc. however, this morning i was curious as to what the bag says she ought to be eating daily and was incredibly suprised by how much it was. (i feed her n...

just a lil update... i looked at my paper work from the vet when i got home just to refresh my memory and she's actually a few weeks older than i thought when i originally posted. She's 7 months old today, so she would have obviously been lighter at 6 months. seems that she's right within normal siz...

thanks for the responses and compliments, she is a great dog, and very good looking too :)) . i guess this is perfectly normal. like i said, she doesnt look like she would be heavy, but when you go to pick her up it is ridiculous. i weighed her on a digital "people" scale by subtracting my...

any guesses as to what she will weigh when she is finally finished growing? what are the chances of her only gaining another 8-10 pounds over the next year and weighing 50-55 pounds? or am i more likely to be seeing 60-65...+? or is there just no way to tell untill she's all done?

My cousin now has another pure bred, Dizzy. She's full grown now, 45 pounds, cropped ears and a complete sweety. Probably the most gorgeous Pit ive ever laid eyes on and certainly one of the sweetest. hopefully ive have some pics of her soon
