I have never heard of the term "alpha roll" Why is doing this so bad? When Buddy is standing in the yard and I walk up to him, he drops to the ground and rolls over sometimes. Does this mean he is doing an alpha roll by himself? Does this sound bad? Buddy is a pretty big guy, he weighs about 110 lbs...

Welcome :)) Those puppies are too cute :inlove: That looks like a fine bed to me, they are going to grow out of the one you buy anyways, so why not save up and buy them a bigger one for when they are grown? Good luck with two puppies, you are going to need it.

Mocha's name fits her very well, I love her coloring.
I too own a Akita mix, she is a Akita/Rott.

I'm happy to hear that Cassius is doing pretty good considering what he has gone through. I would really consider all the advice about the dog seatbelts because now you know he is a jumper and might try doing it again. Hope he heals fast. Take care.

It could be the stress of a new home. Ummm....what are you feeding him? Wet food is tricky because once a dog gets used to that taste it's sometimes hard to go back to dry food. You might try the warm water thing. I have had to hand feed my dogs sometimes, but once they start to eat from my hand the...
