Oddnarb: We are totally on the same page my friend. As am I, but I absolutely despise when someone thinks that e-collar training is the be-all-and-end-all of training devices. Hope you didn't get that impression of me... I don't think it is. :)) I'm just trying to dispell myths... Heck I use treats...

OK really, you need to stop. I am going to stop before I say something that will get me a skull or banned. How am I "one of those people?" I have nothing agaisnt anyone that uses an e-collar, JUST SO LONG AS IT'S DONE RIGHT!!! I've used under the guidance of a trainer and found it was not ...

High level means WWIII could be going on and if you tell your dog to sit, down, place, come, left, right, stellen, or out the dog needs to do it. Then and only then do you have full control of the dog!!!! :duel: It sounds like you have been working with robots, not dogs. I hope that if WWII goes on...

Remember I dont want to start an argument but the C.G.C. is not hard to pass you dont have to have high level obedience to pass the C.G.C. I've trained numerous dogs that passed the C.G.C. Also negative training or positive training doesn't matter when it comes to using the e-collar. if you use the...

Petsmart DID NOT do the training. I did . My friend has a job training for petsmart, but that does not mean outside the store she trains all dogs the same way. She is awesome because she understands that not every training method works for every dog and we have seen this personally. Snoopy does not ...

I do conformation with one of my dogs, sometimes obdedience with my other. I flat out REFUSE to do bite work or any training related to schutzund or personal protection because I firmly believe the APBT was bred to NEVER EVER lay teeth on a human, trained or not. I won't say anything about APBTs tha...

If that were my dog, he'd have been put down already. I can't believe someone would be so glib about ending a dog's life, especially one who had clearly found himself in a scary situation and was reacting the only way he knew how. Here's a newsflash for you: Many dogs have a tendency to lash out wh...
