Re: It's Lymphoma Large Cell Type.

Then it hit me hard: We were coming back inside, and she stopped at the stairs that go up from my sun room into my kitchen. And she looked at me. And I knew. I knew she was in pain and didn't want to climb those three steps. And I started bawling, and I BEGGED her to climb those three steps. And af...

Re: Aaarg... he's FOUR... why now??

My SIX year old dog started doing it last year. We invested in a better lid cover for the garbage, which has helped. Yep...When we did not have a kitchen closet, we got a trash with a lid. We also baby gate the kitchen off. And we still do - just in case - someone, DH, forgets to close the kitchen ...

Re: Blue Buffalo Foods

I am not a vet...But I don't think a tablespoon of yogurt would be something you have to worry about when it comes to calcium values. My dogs get yogurt sometimes once a day for a months time and I don't think it is enough calcium to throw it over the border. BTW - I am a Blue Buffalo rep. I love th...

Re: Questions on Breeding.

There are some very reputable breeders who will mentor you - IF - IF - you want to follow their responsible breeding practices. Good luck in your search. Did not want to come off strong or mean - and I apologize if I did. But last week, I was asked if my APBT was a male and if so would I be willing ...

Re: Severely obese lab...

Zoe has been overweight all her life (akc Lab mix). I tried subbing green beans in her food - but that just made her poo more. BUT - finally I got her down from 65 - 56. How I did this is below and this is my experience. What worked for Zoe may not work for the dog you are asking about. We used the ...

Jake's feet are just awful (red, he is licking, and hair is missing). Can't have that. Plus, we have a tournament in 2 weeks! I have been doing the ACV but will up the Salmon oil and make him some of that spay Mil spoke about

Re: It's me or the dog (living it)

WOW - Thanks everyone!!! I know it takes a lot of time and effort for everyone to write all this stuff out. I am just so excited for all the options and suggestions. And so is the other half...he was very happy about the solutions I described to him... Is she destroying stuff the whole time, only in...

Re: It's me or the dog (living it)

Thanks for the dosage info. Awesome. I can just use regular people supplement right? yea - I think it's time we started thinking about investing in a decent treadmill for her. I defiantly think it will help tire her out in the am. And that would help with her being in the crate.. Speaking of crates ...

Re: It's me or the dog (living it)

While you're working on the training issue, I've seen some vinyl-type window treatments - they're like plastic cling stuff, so it doesn't involve screwing anything anywhere, but it blocks the view a good bit. The ones I've seen that I can think of make it look like stained glass, but there might be...

Re: It's me or the dog (living it)

Hi. Sorry to hear about your problems. You might think about getting a decent sized indoor kennel made of welded wire, no chain-link. Some companies make 5x5x6 foot kennels that will fit in a small room. T . Ah... I see. Well, can your other half exercise her? . Other half won't take to exercising ...
