How big is Zeus? How much does he weigh? He looks a little "smallish" in his photo!

GOD...HE'S ADORABLE! (Mantra: I will not get another dog, I will not get another dog, I will not get another dog...) :inlove:

OMG! What a GORGEOUS BOY!

I would think he'll have no trouble finding a home! :inlove:

Just in case things don't work out for him, though, and he's in danger of being euthanized, PLEASE contact me! I'll take him in!

By the way....just in case you're curious, right now there are 450 Pit Bulls available for adoption on Petfinder.com in Seattle right now! No shortage appears imminent. Here's a link to low cost spay/neuter certificates for your dog http://www.friendsofanimals.org/sncert/index.html $75 for a female ...

A good time to start breeding your dog is after you've visited all the shelters in your area and asked them how many Pit Bulls they kill each week because no one wants them. A good time to start breeding your dog is after you've visited Petfinder.com and there are absolutely NO Pit Bulls available f...

I don't know much about different brands of dogfood, but I had Desiree on Pro Plan when I first got her and she did great. Now she's on Purina One and she's doing just as well.

Just curious why you want to crop them? I think your guy's ears are gorgeous!

Any particular reason?

When it's nice (warm) and Desiree spends most of her day outside, she drinks from an outdoor doggy fountain like this one: http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441781540&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023689&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302025795&...

If you don't want to put your dog through needless pain, then don't crop. It's that simple. I'm not one to call for a ban on cropping, but it's really pointless and has no benefit other than cosmetic, if you like that kind of thing. Frankly, I wouldn't change my girl's floppy ears for anything, and ...

Thanks for the replies. She definitely is mixed with something (anybody's guess as to what....) so it's probably just losing the undercoat although she really doesn't have much hair to begin with! At this rate, she'll get a nice summer coat just in time for fall! Oh well! Thanks for the input! Heather

Haven't posted in a while, but need help with shedding ?

Desiree is brindle with quite a bit of white hairs mixed in. When we adopted her 3 months ago, the shelter said she was about a year and a half old and our vet concurred with that. That would make her 2 around this coming January. Well....we had her at the beach about 10 days ago. I had her microchi...
