In addition to all the reasons listed previously - I like to watch my dog eat. There is something very satisfying in how he MUST take the time to enjoy his food. Plus his teeth are getting a good cleaning and his GI is getting stimulated prior to the food arriving. So here's an example from youtube:...

First, these "real working dogs" are probably subject to the selevtive pressures of healthy immune systems etc, and NOT subjected to the poor breeding practices faced by many breeds today. Actually they were all imported from Germany, so the only selectivity was their breeders. And, yes, ...

Hi Everyone at PBF, I've loved PBs since '85, when I was working at an emergency vets' clinic ...wooo heeee dating myself a bit...but the PBs were sooooo easy to work with, how could you not love them. Yes, they've gotten a bit bigger since then ( :frown: ) - and the PR isn't very good at the moment...
