I'm not into training my dog to fear me.. a fear ful dog is a dangerous dog... there's a difference between respecting your place in the pack and being afraid of you... that is my opinion on it.. Maybe if I keep asking, someone will actually answer? Do you know for a fact, that he creates fearful, ...

Ceasar is excellent at creating robot dogs and timebombs. Do you know this, really? I assume you have a first hand knowledge of a dog he made unstable to back that assertion up? Not to drink the Caesar Kool-Aid as I think half the stuff that comes out of his mouth is utter rubbish. I think you are ...

Forgot to add I am going to hide with shaquillesab09 now..... You can jump in my foxhole anyday. I am right there with you. Caesar is a HUGE bully advocate. There are a lot of folks here that will argue pure positive is the only way to train. You can go to the Training Section for those discussions...

Diamond Naturals is a decent food. I'd stay away from their other lines though. That's what I'd say, too - Kirkland is most similar to Diamond Naturals. I could be wrong, however, I believe Diamond actually manufactures the Kirkland Brand foods. I think I remember because they produced the Kirkland...

I've said it before, but I'm serious. If I ever won the lottery I would move out in the country and build a moat. With alligators in it. Or acid. Signed. I still like the idea of "Pit Bull Island." http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=1e041cf6-4b72-4e00-a35a-956b3e97310e...

Well the current legislative session has ended, so it is a no go this time around. SB 886 made it to Committee and never made it out to the floor for a vote before close. :frown: Maybe next session!! In any case, I sent a very nice e-mail to Senator Justice thanking her for sponsoring the bill along...

They actually don't seem fishy at all to me. Allowing someone strange to come in and handle animals who they know may have little to no experience handling dogs is risky. They may not have staff enough to baby sit the photographer to make sure he/she doesn't do something stupid and get bit or allow...

Are such policies the norm in other areas?

Are these policies in effect anywhere else? Seems a bit fishy to me...... I was wondering if it was just my shelter, or if these are typical?

I meant to say that if you keep the bathroom door shut so she can't get in there and shut herself in, the problem you mention would be solved. Actually, that is the problem, the bathroom door stays shut as we have a 16 month old. Aries opens the door. Her and the cat are as thick as thieves and as ...

I just changed to door knobs in my house for that reason lol I guess dogs are smarter than at least I give them credit for. I would not have believed she was doing it if I hadn't seen her do it with my own two eyes. It was just easier to except the idea that a) I am going crazy, or b)there was an i...

Anyone have any ideas how to untrain a dog.......

Okay, so I have this little issue...... we have those decorative handles on all our interior doors rather than the plain knobs. Well, somehow Aries taught herself how to open a closed door by batting at the handles and for 2 weeks I thought either our house was haunted, or someone was coming in whil...

Unless it was re-introduced in 2008, HB 1686 was 2 years ago. http://www.house.state.mo.us/bills061/bills/HB1686.htm+hb1686&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=7&gl=us

HB 1686 is a Motor Fuel Tax Holiday in the 2008 session.
