I would try to contact a local rescue group and explain the situation to them, how AC is slacking, how you can't take the dogs etc.

Morgan is ready for a forever home.

http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=8577018 This is the little girl who I've been fostering. She's approximately a year old, UTD on shots, spayed, and crate trained. I really hope she goes to someone who has the time and patience to build her confidence back up. She doesn't like...

Functionally, it looks about the same as a prong only less durable... What's the real difference other than one is metal and the other plastic? They both have points that contact the neck and provide a poke/pinch mechanism when the leash is pulled on. What ZiggysMom said. They're doing the same thi...

Jack's hackles get raised when he gets surprised sometimes. lol It's cute, something will startle him and he'll be all shocked for a moment.

Sounds like regular puppy play. Jack growls sometimes when we play tug also but it's always playful, no other aggressive or dominant body language with it (hackles standing, stiff body position, staring etc). And you said both dogs dropped the toy as soon as you grabbed it, that's awesome, they were...

...however, on a final note...I talked to Veronica's breeder last night. Veronica's father recently chewed the arm off her couch and he just turned 3. It's in the genes :crybaby: Wish me well! Jazzy (still pretty much in hell  ) I hope you're joking. lol Couch/furniture chewing is not heredita...

How much exercise is this dog getting? It sounds like boredom to me. Dogs DO get bored.

I find Jack is MUCH better behaved after some good exercise, he doesn't een try to chase the cats. lol

I find it odd that this would suddenly happene even IF she is just now 2 yrs old. Certainly there isn't a light switch for human aggression like dog aggression, it just makes no sense. Did something happen to this dog? Was she traumatized? Was she left in the care of someone else for any period of t...

I just looked up on Dogster.. She was seized because 1. She was not spayed 2. She was seen (and complained about) on multiple occasions without a muzzle Grrrrr...... So BSL and compound it by an irresponsible owner!? 8l Exactly. It'd be nice to be able to save the dog but maybe she doesn't need to ...

Target of the day? :huh? I just think as pit bull owners, victims of wildly incorrect stereoypes, we should be more careful of stereotyping others. We should also remember that our dogs respond to US. So while you (you meaning everyone) may think the dog is responding the a certain kind of person, i...

Maybe the trainer was looking out for you.

Just as others here tear apart people who want to take their dogs to the dog park, maybe he was trying to avoid any more pit bull media hype due to protection training. From what you've told us it doesn't sound like he was spouting any myths.

Kind of wrong for us to generalize because of the clthes someone wear don't you think? It's like non-pitbull people syaing all pit bulls are vicious.

Maybe he is smelling that their hormones are raging and unstable, especially testosterone.
