Have you considered giving her benadryl orally?

I know it is safe for dogs. Makes them a little sleepy though....just like humans :)

You'd have to check with the vet for the dosage. I forget what the break down for weight is.

Yep. Just got done reading the post over there. It looks like it was repealed! That makes me so happy! I'm just trying to figure out why it is saying the ordinances are up to date as of 2/06, but if you call or look anywhere else it says it is repealed. Probably just another way to discourage people...

Ok....another question. One of the houses I am looking at has restrictions on "the breed commonly known as the pit bull dog" see this post for restrictions http://www.pitbullforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=572839#572839 Would this cause an issue with a rescue letting me adopt? Provided I complie...

I talked to the ex about "my" dog last night. He should have an answer for me in a week......so he says. That is where the wondering of when I should take a step back, move on thing comes in. I've been waiting for an answer for a while. I am an honest person so that shouldn't be too much o...

Chances of that are not good. If everything went that smooth I would have the dog! I'm trying to get a hold of him now to determine the status of "my" dog. to determine if he is still considering giving him up to me. Kinda a frustrating situation in general. I should probably just distance...

Hi :) How cool his foster mom is here! I'm still waiting to here from my ex about my dog before I do anything. Although it doesn't seem he is sincere about giving him back to me. I told him he needs to give me an answer one way or the other....hopefully he will. I'm not ready to contact them yet, si...

I'm getting just a little bit ahead of myself since I don't have my house yet and I may be getting my Boomer back, but I can't seem to stay off petfinder!

Thanks for all your input. I will be owning my home. One of the main things I am looking for is a fenced yard. I won't buy a home without a fence unless they are giving an allowance to buy one. The market here is a buyers market, so I'm not worried about it. Since I haven't bought yet I don't have a...

Question about rescue dogs

I have a couple of questions that I am hoping someone will be able to answer for me. I had an APBT, but when my ex and I split he kept him. There is a possiblity that I may be getting him back (the dog). If I don't I want to adopt a rescue. I absolutely fell in love with the breed when I had Boomer,...
