I use the Mane and Tail stuff for my dogs. It's for horses, but it works well, especially on short coated breeds.

The dog just may be dog-agressive. Which has nothing to do with human agression. Some of the best people dogs don't tolerate other dogs.

I've heard anywhere from 10-15, but that depends on how well the dog is taken care of. Pit bulls aren't supposed to be a massive breed, and the 7-10 year lifespan you mentioned would most likely apply to those kegs on legs people talk about all the time. I got my dog spayed at 6 months right after her first heat. She is slighty incontinent. I guess it depends on the dog, really, and when the vet will do it :dunno:
I don't think either way is a guarentee.

My mom and I vaccinate all of our dogs, once a year. We have four and two of them have to go in for cortisone shots because they have severe skin/ear allergies.
