Re: Nobody is helping. (Pika? Or What?)

Her eating things is her way of telling you she's bored. If you can't watch her then she shouldn't be left to her own devices (to eat whatever she pleases). Re: Fire works

My older female has issues with fireworks, gun shots and thunderstorms. She panicks, pants heavily, and shakes (entire body) We use rescue remedy and a thundershirt - http://www.thundershirt.com . We also keep all of our dogs inside with windows closed, they usually hang out in the basement when we ...

Usually only last 30 seconds - 1.5 mins and shes usually wide eyed and shaking (focal) Sometimes she lays down and shakes other times shes had them while standing up. Every dog ...

Re: Fostering with a DA dog?

I have a dog aggressive Jack Russell Terrier and we foster all the time.
2 week shut down is a given, but we keep the JRT seperated from the other dogs through xpens, baby gates, crates and doors.
It's sometimes stressful on us but doesnt seem to bother the dogs at all...

Re: BSL Resources ASAP!

Wow, good luck.

Is the dog registered within the city? Does she have paperwork stating what breeds the dog is? Doesn't always help (as seen in the Brampton cases) but its definitely worth having as back up.
