Here comes Pinkerton and Hammer

Postby Pinkerton » Wed Nov 12, 2008 11:29 am

Hi everyone! We live in Minnesota and we fell in love with APBT's because we dog-sat our friends Pit Bull Gutter who is an amazing dog. So we did a lot of research on the breed and decided to get one of our own....we rescued Pinkerton through A Rotta Love when Pink was 6 months (she is now 4 years) and she has been the best girl ever! She is so sweet and listens so well and is so much fun to be around. We started agility class and she is amazing :inlove:

Then.....we decide to maybe think about adopting a second dog. We thought about getting a smaller dog or another breed but we just love Pit Bulls so much we couldn't resist....so we adopted Hammer through A Rotta Love 2 weeks ago...he is about 4 1/2 months and is the complete opposite of Pink-very outgoing, nothing phases him....a complete goof ball! roflmao

Hi again! I was looking at the example page and I don't think I put enough info about myself. I am 27 years old and my husband is 35. I am a Veterinary Technician which is the best job in the whole world but also lets me spread the word and educate people about APBT's. I work in a nice suburban area so when I tell people I own Pit Bulls they always say, "oh! are they nice?". My husband and I have had our share of people telling us and showing us what they think of pit bulls (umm, not in a good way :po: ) but we always stick with it and keep educating people how truly amazing these dogs are.

How long does it usually take to get access? Just curious because I have lots of questions :)
Thanks!

Welcome! Very cute pups. It took me about a week to get access. It's worth the wait.
