Hello!

Hey there! I'm surprised I didn't join this forum earlier.
My name is Sariss, and I'm a College student, currently working for my Veterinary Assistant Certificate. After that, I will be going on to Veterinary Technology.

I love Pitbulls, and as I'm sure a lot of you know, they are trying to ban them in Ontario. Which, unfortunately is where I live. I've always wanted a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and it angers me to no end that I may not be able to get that chance if I stay here.
I always find myself defending Pitbulls against my friends and classmates, as they can't seem to wrap their mind around the fact that it's not the dog. It gets stressful hearing nothing but bad press about them. So I'm glad I found a place that has people that share the same views as me.

Even though I don't own any pitties, I'll share a picture of my two dogs anyways. :xp: Them, along with my three cats and other birds, aren't with me while I'm in College, so I sort of miss them.

The Australian Shepherd is Daisy, and the Chihuahua is Niku. I was thinking about putting a picture of them as my avatar, but then I'd feel out of the loop not having a Pittie on there. :))
