My name is Kevin. I'm 25 years old and from Myerstown, PA. As a kid I lived with a Doberman and, later, a Golden Retriever. Shadow is my first Pitbull. I was first introduced to this breed by a neighbor who had a 7 year old brindle who was just an amazing companion. Shadow came to me through a friend. He had lived with a larger, dominant male pit with a previous family, and it was not working out for him. They weren't fighting with each other, but the older male was less than happy with his presence in his domain. He then came to a friend of mine who had a one year old female, but they quickly realized that they could not give him enough 1 on 1 which he deserves, and she knew I had been interested in the breed for a while. The moment I met him, I fell in love. He is such a sweetheart. I have only had him for about 2 weeks, and we are working on housebreaking and basic obedience. I live with several roommates, and my girlfriend comes over to the house often, so he is getting a lot of love and attention, even when I am at work.

I also enjoy working with reptiles, and I currently have 5 snakes. Tropical freshwater fish have also been a passion of mine for several years. I only have one tank set up at the moment, but at one time, I had eight different tanks running.

I have always been a dog lover, and when I saw how intelligent, loyal, and personable this breed can be, I knew that I wanted to learn more, and eventually live with one. They have such wonderful personalities, and are exceptional companions.

If there is anything more you would like to know about me, feel free to ask.
