Hi Steve and welcome. Please read and research all you can can on pit bulls and multi- dog households as they can be quite challenging. Can you tell us a bit about you and your dogs? Here's a sample intro for ideas

yes london England.

well the german shepherds 2 and half and is neutered im going to get oscar done aswell when he turns 1 the GSD is more of a guard dog then a pet but oscar will be kept indoors as a pet as i doubt he would make a very good guard dog as he is constantly wagging his tail and licking every stranger he meets.

Welcome to the board! Are Pit Bull still illegal in England?
Sounds like you have quite a household!

Unfortunalty yes they are still illegal but the laws are kind of relaxed you can not register the dog yourself its more of wait and see if your caught then the dog will be neutered chipped and tattooed also it will always have to be muzzeled in a public place its more like they are turning it into a criminal even before it has done anything. It will then be registerd but the courts will look more too see if its a pet or not.

i was never really intrested in the breed other then that i knew american pitbulls arent people aggressive and if they were then thats a fault in the dog not the breed.

The breed that i have always been intrested in was the GSD i was given OSCAR by a friend who was moving and american pitbulls can not be exported from the uk either so here i am looking for help to make sure i bring up a well behaved socialised APBT.

Below is a video of my GSD and 2 of my cats
