Greetings from Chi-Town

Hello to everyone here. I was up early one morning looking for the best food to feed my 7 week old pit, Pac (yes, I'm a Tupac Shakur fan). Anyway I found this forum and found it to be very informative. I have already reccommended it to a few of my friends who also own pits. I should be posting pics soon, so be on the lookout for Pac. By the way I choose to go with Wellness / Old Mother Hubbard, right now Pac eats Nutro Max. Any other suggestions, because I want to give him the best that I can at this crucial point in his life.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully pics will be posted this eveining. I dont know how long before I can post on messages on other topics, but has anyone heard of or had any experience with Flint River Ranch dog food ? Please check out their site at www.flintriverranch.com and tell me what you think. I was thinking of using that or Wellness. Please help.

I know a few people that really like the Flint River. I like the Wellness but I think the key is finding what works well for your dog. All dogs are different and react differently to different foods.

Welcome to the board.

I recommend doing a search(there's a search button at the top of the page^) on foods and you'll come up with many, many threads about good foods. I also suggest you pay close attention to anything that barbponys(our resident food expert) has to say.
