Traveling with animals requires a little more diligence. Immigration issues should of been worked out before you moved. That being said you are in a predicament. I would start cruising the docks looking for a stateside bound boat. Some one might be willing to transport your pupper for you...plan to offer adequate compensation they will be doing you a tremendous service if they agree. Have copies of all your pups shot records and all other paperwork to show you are not "stealing" the dog. They will be going through customs, so provide everything possible to make this go smoothly, or you could plan on picking him up straight from quarantine. This could relieve the transporters from dealing with it. Just my 2 cents...and probably not worth that. I don't travel internationally with my critters, so i don't even know the procedure.

Where exactly do you live and which airlines fly there? I would call every airline that flies to your area and ask.

Delta seems to allow pitbulls as long as the temperature stays above 75 degrees.

United does not include pitbulls on its list of snub-nosed dogs.

If there aren't any airlines that allow pitbulls that fly to your specific island, perhaps you can take a boat to a larger island that has more options.

Finally, maybe contact these people or look for a similar animal-specific airline.

Good luck!

What about a boat? Many boats accomodate dogs.
