Hello and Welcome Apple and Anthony !!! She's a real cutie and looks to be a real pit bull type dog to me. I don't see anything that says otherwise. Sometimes we just have to accept the mysteries of our pets from unknown origin and pedigree (like my boy Rowdy) and just be thankful for the wonderful companions they are 8)

Of course your dog is REAL, haha. She looks very much APBT to me, but even if she isn't: who cares? lol

She's lovely!

:welcome:

Hi and :welcome: Glad to have you!

DON'T DO THE DNA TEST...unless you're doing it for fun-it's a wash. There was a lady here who knew exactly what her dog was because of years and years of pedigree paperwork...and I think she was a part of the dogs breeding...but it came back as something ridiculous like poodle and a few other possibilities. The DNA testing is useless.

Welcome, your dog is cute, I like the name Apple, but no way to tell if she is a purebred anything. There is no accurate DNA test to tell if a random dog is purebred and even if there were, it wouldn't tell you anything of her bloodlines, or genetic history. I have two lovely "pit bull" type dogs with no backgrounds myself, a tan male I got from the shelter and a blue female who was being dumped for the 2nd or 3rd time in her life on craigslist.

You can't tell for sure unless you have a pedigree, also looking back at it now I used to wonder about my dog.
Now I don't care because she's never going to be bred. So doesn't matter shes a great dog and that's
what matters :) Apple does look like an APBT, doesn't look much mix, if any.
