hello

Postby Jay James » Thu Mar 03, 2011 11:29 pm

Hello

I live in Australia, my user name is a bit clunky but I perform badly under pressure! I'm female, 26, live in Melbourne

I have an american staffy x, Molly - adopted at 2 y/o from a no killer shelter in Melbourne. I've had her for one year and love her to pieces.

In Australia pit bulls/american staffy's /whatever term you wish to use are not socially acceptable at all. I adopted Molly with no experience of the breed, and was told by staff she was most likely a staffy x kelpie (maybe with shar pei due to the forehead wrinkles! haha) - so was shocked to be told by someone in the industry it looked like she definitely had some AMSTAFF in her. After doing some research I can see it clearly in her too.

I found this site while doing reseach after finding out Molly shows signs of DA

SO, I'm a fan by default. I'm looking foward to learning more about training, especially older/rescue dogs

Thanks

There's a lot of info here on DA. It's manageable.
