I don't really have a history with pits, but my friends have the sweetest pit mix that is an awesome ambassador and taught me that stereotypes are meant to be broken.
I currently don't have a dog, but we have been to visit a pit mix at the local aspca, and have fallen head over heels with her. We are planning on adopting her within the next few weeks. She is a female pit mix, 4 years old. This brought my to these forums. I want to learn everything there is to know about the breed, and also about how to successfully make her part of our family.
