INtroducing pit to household with 6 cats

I have a one year old female foster 25% Amer. Staff. Terrier. who has an opportunity to be adopted in a house with one other adult dog and 6 old cats. Is this even worth trying? I had her temperament assessment done and she was O.K. with chickens when they were behind a chicken coop, She obsesses over squirrels in my neighborhood.
