Intro. and looking for advice on road trips with my pitties!

Hello!

My name is Megan and I am the proud owner of two young, energetic pitties. Eddie (3 years) is a pit mix (possibly Dutch Shepard mix, but most likely some type of Shepard) and Mikey is just a handsome pitbull (1 year).

We are planning on driving to visit my family in Dallas, Texas at the end of the month. I am trying to plan out the road trip as best I can to avoid cities where my boys are banned. I do not want to run into any problems! We will be driving through Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. I plan on contacting the cities we need to go through to see what the rules are for driving through.

Just looking for any advice from people who live in those states or have traveled through them.

We will definitely make our stops for exercise in areas where they are welcomed.
