Found in San Benito County, CA

Postby RSEagen » Sat Apr 30, 2016 7:02 am

I found a super friendly female pit mix. She is not chipped. She does get along with my pug so I am willing to foster her for awhile. The Hollister Shelter has my contact information. She was wearing a collar which could help to identify the owners if they are able to describe it however it did not have any contact information. It has been extremely windy in this area for the last few days so my guess is that she was an outdoor dog whose fence got blown down. I'll be taking her for walks in the morning/evening commute hours in hopes that I cross paths with her family. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't really help you as I'm in England, however there may be people on this forum who can help, keep us posted.

Thank you Bullseye. She's a great dog. Housetrained and everything. The worry I have is that her family didn't train her in English. She responds to hand signals but not verbal ones.

Is it possible that her owners or atleast the one who trained is deaf, that could help with finding her owner, I could help if you put some posters up in around the area she was found if you haven't already :)

That's brilliant news!

Hats off to you for looking after her in the meantime :)
