hello I have a 8 week old pitbull and a 3/12year old rott/lab mix roflmao

I will do my best to get picks of them on here. my female rott/lab is my big babby she is so gentle to every one and outher dogs. now this little pit I have seems to be a bit more hyper but he IS just a pup and fun to laugh at cuz hes so silly. the weird thing is the rotty is nice to all dogs even puts up with the pup. but not all the time when she is sleeping or laying down she will give him a bark to let him know to stay away she dose the same when she is eating but never bits him or even trys its like she is leting him know the right now is not play time. is this ok?? dose any one think this will soon be a prob? I have been going to dog pulls around here and Im going to be puting duke (pit) in some and I dont want him to be mean to outher dogs. when he is older
