Hi all. I'm new to the forum. I got my first pit 2 years ago. I was scared but my husband assured me they are wonderful dogs. I'd never been around them. We found Neimo at the shelter and she definitelly picked us. We didn't have a choice! LOL Since then she has brought so much joy to our life and I have become obsessed with this breed. I'm so happy there is a place like this out there.

Hi and welcome! I'm another one who used to have a very bad idea about Pit Bulls...now, I love them! They aren't too "scary" at all are they? I've got a Pit mix giving me sleepy eyes right now and, he's my favorite little guy. :hi

Hello and congrats on your adoption of Neimo! My husband and I also adopted our guy, Stockey, from a shelter, too. Owning a pit for the first time been a wonderful and eye-opening experience.

I am so happy we got her from the shelter. She has scars on her neck from a collar and a chuck out of her ear. It's so sad. But now she is SPOILED ROTTEN!! LOL And the light of my life!
