Bully Rescue in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Postby brandycb » Tue Jun 28, 2005 10:24 pm

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and would love to hear from you. I am starting a new bully rescue in the Southern Alberta area and need loving and reliable foster homes. Please pass the word along so that we can get a well needed bully rescue started in Alberta.

Any words of advice, name ideas? I would love some input while getting started.

Thanks
brandycb

Wonderful thing

That's a wonderful thing you want to do. Very noble.
We may need rescueing soon down here where I live. They now want to ban them in Broward county florida like they have in Miami.
If that happens I will have to grab my gang and run for the hills. Soon I am afraid there will be no safe place left for the Pits.
Keep up the good thoughts
Sorry that I have no advice to give, just encougaging words.

Rescuing in Alberta

Postby brandycb » Sat Jul 02, 2005 8:36 pm

I have fostered when I worked for our Humane Society, but trying to find people who are willing to foster a specific breed can be difficult especially a bully with all their bad publicity. Luckily I work in the vet industry and have lots of contacts in the animal world. I need to think of a rescue name. Any suggestions? I was thinking Loveabull:)

Pit Perfect rescue

Good luck, I love thinking of names....
