OMG. Love your pittys. They are soooo gorgeous. Any advice from someone that owns multiple pits to someone who is going to own two males?? I wasn't concerned about it until I started hearing stories. My current male is very mellow and laid back and we're getting an 8 week old in a couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance :headbang:

Hey you

Thanks for replying and the nice words. I was hoping to talk to you. I had a dog once that looked just like your new pup. That dog was amazing!!!

I was always told that I would never be able to keep 2 females together, and now I have 3 all together. Then I was told this past year that I would never be able to keep 2 males at the same time. But my first male is alot older and I did have to remind him alot to "BE NICE" when I had this last litter and decided to keep 2 out of it. One being a male. I do worry when I have a female in heat that they might fight, but so far so good. The older one actually washes and lays by the younger one. But it has helped that the younger one is a very mellow dog with no desire to be the alpha in the house. I did have one pup I wanted to keep, but he was just too aggressive to stay with my gang. I do not allow any rough housing or hard playing and I have a commend..."BE Nice" that all the dogs knows that it means "stop and be calm". It takes conditioning I do believe. But my dogs are delivered by me and raised in the house where they are born. I carry & kiss them until they are too big to lift! (I think that has an effect on them) lol
Maybe it also helps that all of mine are related and they know they are. They still go to their respective mothers to be washed and stuff.lol

It's a pleasure to met you. You have a beautiful family.
Hope to talk soon.
If I can help in any way, just ask me!

Thanks for the tips Cheri. I'm hoping that spending lots of time with the two of them will help them to behave and respect one another. We picked out a very mellow pup too so I hope that this will help. The other male we were looking at was gorgeous, but way too rambuncious for me. He was definitely an alpha type and I didn't think that was a good idea considering that just due to his age, Austin will want that role. Thanks for the compliments too! I think the little guy is just gorgeous and he's the same color as my hair. How funny is that? We plan on spending lots of quality time with the two of them and I also don't want to allow a lot of rough housing. We plan on starting a family in a few years and I want the environment to be calm and easy going. I'll definitely be looking you up for pointers as things go along. I hope that's alright with you. It sure looks like you run a very pleasant household and your little pittys all look so happy.

Thanks again! :peace:

I appreciate the nice words. These dogs are my life. I don't buy dogs, I make one when I am ready for a new one, so of coarse I am very proud when someone thinks they are nice.
Who is that beautiful dog in the pic??? That is an AWESOME dog!!
Nice hearing from you
This place is just what I was looking for
Take care

Anytime you want to talk I'm here for you. There is no greater joy for me then these dogs. You would not be a bother in any way. Everything I do online concerns my dogs, and when I am not at work, I am theirs.
I should not post this, but we ALL sleep in the same bed. When the last 2 were born I didn't have the heart to make them sleep elsewhere. I had to go buy another bed and push it together with the one we had to make a HUGH bed. It goes from wall to wall (and it's very hard to make)
Our side had memory foam on it, and they all would still sleep on our side, then I had to break down and buy one for the other bed as well. Are they spoiled or what????
Great talking with you. You were right to pick a mellow fellow to be your new baby. Just stop any nonsense as soon as you see anything, and teach them a "Word" that means behave.
Talk soon
