Hey everyone, I have been browsing the forums for about a week, and finally decided to register. I own two APBT's, chief and queen. Chief is a almost 2 year old male that is almost completely black with small brindle patches on his front legs and shoulders and he weighs about 73 pounds. Queen is an almost 1 year old red nose female, weighs about 45 pounds is reddish brown with a white chest and white socks. Sorry, I'm broke currently so I have no digital camera to post pics of them yet, but they will be coming.
I got both of my dogs from personal friends. I'm not a byb though, my female is fixed and my male would be if it wasn't for financial burdens.. I've had pitts since I was 16, and I'm 25 now. I really want to get they're pics up, because they are beautiful and loving dogs.
i just signed up a few days ago and LOVE IT!!! I had a dog a few years ago but she was taken. i am about to finaly get another( till death do us part, this time) so give your babies a hug for me and hello.
Thanks for the welcome. I'm just glad there are other people out there that love APBT's as much as I love mine. Let's keep the positive stuff going. I don't know how many people I have convinced that bullies are great dogs, but I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without Diane Jessup's books and the other info that is available on this site.
I'm an evil picture slut, too - when you get your photos processed, you can ask for them to be put on CD (I get mine done at Walgreen's and they charge an extra $2.99, or I think you can also scan them there). Then I use Micrrosoft PictureIt (super easy to use, and perfect for a technodummy like me . . . ) where I can re-format/re-size them. And if I want to upload, I use (free) Photobucket. And now that I have a couple weeks before my next class starts, I might actually sit down and do some of that myself . .
