No she isn't messing with them. So she doesn't really need the cone. She is confined for the moment. so her litermates don't get at hear ears. And they didn't tape them. He basically pierced the upper part of the ears and ran a piece of the sutcher from one ear to the other so they stay up straight. Pretty smart idea i though. But he's been cropping ears for 20 years. So he's got all the tricks.

You'd think someone cropping for 20 years would do it younger.
Do you have this whole litter?

but she needs 1 more visit to vet to finalize her shots and i move into a new place in a couple of weeks. So where im getting her from they are holding her for me. I dont want to introduce into the new place until i am settled. So i can minimize shock. plus i can devote 100% time to her and not unpacking boxes.

So i'll pick her up in a few weeks. I go over there and visit and play with her so that way shes getting familiar with me in the meantime.

So, I gather that you do not have her yet? I assume the breeder still has her? I find it amazing that a breeder would wait until a pup is 5 months old to crop. All my dogs have natural ears, but I was under the impression that it was done much younger.
