New to the forums, meet scarlet

Postby th3sh1zn1t » Tue Jan 22, 2008 11:50 pm

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums, my name is Troy and I have a 5 month old pitbull named scarlet. She's been a blast and she's doing really good other then a few biting problems, she tends to chew on arms and things, we correct it with a squirt in the face, and a stern no. She stops but she occasionally will do it again at the next play session. If you guys have any suggestions let me know. =]

I don't believe she's brindle guys, She isn't really brown, she's more of a brown grey. I heard purple ribbon, but I have no idea. I've been checking the forum out and it seems like a great place. I'll be looking for tips on here.

Brindle can come in different colors I believe. It describes the pattern more than a specific color.

Oh I see  . Well she's been great so far, couldn't ask for a better dog, loves her crate, sits and lays on command. working on other commands such as off and leave it.

Well I'm 17 and this is my first dog, I've always grown up with a dog but this is the first puppy I've owned. She's about 5 months old and I bought her from a guy in L.A. I was leery about buying her from a random dogs litter, but hey, it wouldn't be scarlet if I didn't do that. I have no regrets doing so, she's been going to the vet and is doing great so far.
