Hey, I can definitel tell everyone about myself..(i know my intro wasn't the greatest. ) Okk here it goes. My name is Victoria, and I am about to b 20 years old on leap year of this year. I live in Cranston, Rhode Island. This is my second APBT. My first one was brindle and white and was named Sarah Brown. Sadly, she passed away at the age of 10. I also previously owned a 190 pound Rottweiler.(who was supposedly the runt of the litter) He was very big, but he was a baby. He also died at 10 due to cancer. But heyy what can you do. Then my mother wanted a smaller dog..so we got her a Westie. And just about on the 2nd of this month, I started looking at APBT's online. And I found a wonderful breeder..that I am sure many have heard of// Ginny York of York Kennels. So my father and I saw Hailey, and fell in love. And within the next week, we were driving to Virginia to pick her up!! And let me tell you, it was worth every minute of the 20 hours it took both ways to pick her up.. And I love her to pieces. Now I have the love of my life here with me and she is such a silly puppy. Gets into everything. (what was expected) and I also have a cockatiel. That Hailey would love to meet!! But I am too nervous,,
And for a little bit more about Hailey:: I will never forget the day I got her. She looked soo cute,, definitely the best of the bunch. She slept the whole way home. I also have a Westie who is 10 and she LoVeS to play with him!! He is soo lazy though, so he is not that much fun for her!! . She also loves little kids. My job is Direct Support Staff. I take care of people with developmental disabilites. It is a very rewarding job and I love it. Some of the people are scared of dogs, but the ones that aren't, I take to meet Hailey. It is soo touching to see how happy the people are to meet her!! She is much liked by them, very calm and gentle towards them, and kisses come in bunches!! <3. I would love for her to be a therapy dog some day. It means the world for some of these people to be able to interact with dogs and cats.
I also felt the need to state that I am a big animal lover... not just dogs, but I also have besides Hailey, 1 West Highland terrier, 2 canaries, 2 finches and a cockatiel. And I have 2 cats that were traumatized as kittens that I adopted from the local pound. So that is a total of 9 pets..so I guess I qualify as an animal lover <3 Some day I hope to open up an animal sanctuary in my area.
