I'm sorry you're in this mess. Were no animals allowed where you currently live?
You may need to spend a few $ and board him until you find someplace to live.
Poor little guy :frown: his life is about to unfairly change.

A landlord must give you proper notice in order to evict you. Did he give you anything in writing saying the dog has to be gone by such and such date.

He has to go through a process, they can't just threaten to kick you out.

Good luck

It takes up to 3 months to evict a tenant. Your landlord can not order you to move right now. He must serve you papers and proceed from there. I wouldn't give up your dog just yet.

Man im so tempted to help you bro...my red nose pit is 7 months...let me get back at your really quick through pm and i will see what sup...

The land lord thing you got three months or so like it was said above he has to seve you papers and follow a process...if that was the case a chocolate load of people would be on the streets

And your last option a little pricey but yet still an option is boarding school there you know he will sleep eat and get taken care of...

Wish I could help. I'm beyond maxed out @ 2 dogs and 5 cats.

My friends live in Walnut and I will call some of them today and see if any of them might be available to foster. I will need more information on temperment & socialization. Like has your Pit been around children? Has your Pit been around small noisy dogs? Has your Pit been around cats? Where was your Pit obtained? (shelter or breeder)

ALSO PLEASE>....

If you can't find someone to care for your pup and have no choice but to give it up... DO NOT, I repeat... DO NOT take it to the Baldwin Park Shelter.

Please find the No Kill Shelter (like in Irvine), find a street within their jurisdiction and state that you found this puppy wandering around (like shopping center). They will have to take in the pup, if it doesn't belong to you and there is no AVID micro chip to trace the dog back to you. And your pup will have an even greater chance of going to a wonderful home as No Kills interview rigorously prospective owners.

You might even consider rescue groups. Call Inland Valley Humane Society to get referrals for Pitt Bull Rescue Groups just in case.
