She likes to sleep on her pillow, and needs to be covered with blanket before we go to bed. Since she has no body fat and practically no fur, she gets cold easily. So, in the middle of the night, she will turn around in her bed, and get out from under the blanket.
Instead of trying to get back in, QUIETLY!!, she will come over to our bed and whine until one of us gets up and cover her. She will also go from one side of the bed to another and whine into mine and husbands ears in turns, just to guarantee that someone does wake up and cover her...
I am so tired of interrupted sleep, it is not even funny. I also feel very bad fro my husband, because he has to get up at 4 AM as it is.
I have tried everything: PJ's (she gets out of them), coats (they get a lot of static and she is crackling and making sparks with every move), I bought her a doggie heating blanket to lay on - she still woke me up tonight to cover her. I added a tie-down next to her bed, so she won't walk up to us - she will whine louder from her bed, to make sure we hear her.
Seriously, I want to pull my hair out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to have a good night sleep?
Maybe I should make her fat, so she can retain body heat....Or feed her hoodia, so her body heat would rise....
