Nevermind. There's no way it'll be sold by Christmas, so I'm just going to keep it. :)

So the dog will set his/her own pace? There is nothing but him/her to keep the belt moving?

That is a good idea for a weight puller, but my dog wouldn't understand how to get it moving lol

Right. Its dog-propelled. And it doesn't build up much momentum, unlike a slatmill.

How do you train a dog to run on a dog-powered mill like this one?

It helps if they've had training to pull on command. The premise is pretty much the same.

I think I've got somebody coming up this weekend to get it. I'll post here when/if something happens.

I still have the mill. Someone is supposed to be buying it from me, but they've been delayed by car problems. If its not gone by sometime in November, I'll let you know. (I really want it gone ASAP because its one of the things I'm selling to get Christmas money. Plus, I don't want to have to mess with carting it along when we move, hopefully later this year.)

Bump. The mill is still here. I'm getting a bit anxious to sell it before we close on our house at the end of the month. Any takers?
