You shouldn't say this, clearly you guys are good enough to try out for the team so why wouldn't you be good enough to be on it. Just keep practicing.

Congratulations, I'm very happy for you guys.

Make sure you get plenty of pictures/videos while you're there!

I am SO excited for you and I KNOW yall' can make the team. I'm shocked that with all your accomplishments and with what an amazing handler you are that you have any doubt!

Minneapolis, I assume? I'm on the MN border, but I'm still 4 hours from the Twin Cities. I'm sure it wouldn't be in some podunk town closer to me.

When I watched that standard run on facebook, I was wondering if you had it together for the tryouts. Glad to hear that you made it that very weekend!

It is in a podunk town, but it's a podunk suburb of Minneapolis. It's in Hopkins. There doesn't even appear to be a motel in Hopkins, the motels in the premium are all in surrounding towns.

Tess and I are a good team, and Tess is definitely a rockstar. But just because we can meet the minimum standards to try out doesn't mean we can beat all the other excellent teams who also met the minimum standards to try out. We won't get picked, our only hope of making the team would be to win our way on. (2 teams win on, the other 2 are selected from the other competitors. Based partly on performance at Nationals, which we can't go to, but they wouldn't pick the Staffy anyway)

I hope to make a good showing, but expecting to make the team would be asking for disappointment.

I STILL disagree. Anything is possible with the right attitude and skill set. You have the skills, now we gotta work on that attitude...I know the level of competition and skill in world teams and I personally think you two have it as a team!

lol Hopkins IS a small (4 sq miles), old town!! lol
It does have a Country Inn & Suites. ;)
St. Louis Park is close to it and should have more reasonably priced hotel rooms.
