Title collectors, your dog's FULL name?

Postby bahamutt99 » Tue Mar 15, 2011 9:57 pm

A long name is a thing of beauty and the reward of countless hours of blood, sweat and tears. Tell us your dog's "legal" name and share what it all means if you're so inclined. :)

Image

Loki is UWPCH UAGI UCD UROI 'PR' Matrix's I Defy Gravity CGC TT WDS (OFA)

UWPCH - United Weight Pull Champion
UAGI - UKC's level-one agility title
UCD - UKC's novice-level obedience title
UROI - UKC's level-one rally obedience title
'PR' - Something pretty to peddle pups to newbs... errr, ya know, 3 generations of ancestors UKC-registered.
CGC - AKC's Canine Good Citizen certificate
TT - Temperament Title by the American Temperament Test Society
WDS - IWPA's Working Dog Superior (weight pull)
OFA - Health testing. Hips (good), patellas/elbows normal. CERF (eyes) was done but never submitted to the database, also normal. I know this isn't a title per se, but still worth the little blurby brag at the end of her name. Linky link

Hopefully before too much longer, her UCD will be upgraded to UCDX (United Companion Dog Excellent, UKC's open-level obedience title). She has one leg (of the three required). Loki is listed on the UKC's Ultradog list as an altered dog which has titled in at least 3 different all-breed sports.

Image

Terra is UWP Gravity's Digital Rain Matrix CGC (OFA)

UWP - United Weight Puller
CGC - Canine Good Citizen
OFA - Hips (good), elbows/patellas/cardiac/throid normal. Ah linketh

Terra's got lots of works-in-progress. 95 points (of 100) on her UWPCH. 57 points towards her ADBA Champion title. Over 100 points and 2 competition wins towards her UKC Champion title.

******

Share share! :yipee: :peace: :headbang:

UACH UWPCH UCDX CH MACH DayDream London Calling CDX RAE OF AD PD2 CL3-R CL3-H CL3-S CGC TC TT

UACH: UKC Agility champion
UWPCH: UKC weight pull champion
UCDX: 2nd level UKC obedience
CH: conformation champion (I usually put "U" in front of it to signify that it's from the UKC, but that's not the official title)
MACH: AKC agility champion
CDX: 2nd level AKC obedience
RAE: highest AKC rally title (you can add numbers after it, but it cost enough money & time just to get the RAE, we're done)
OF: Open Fast, another AKC agility title (midlevel) earned in their "FAST" class, a game which isn't required for the championship
AD: "Agility Dog". USDAA Novice level agility title (tougher than AKC novice)
PD2: "Performance Dog 2" 2nd level USDAA agility title earned in the Performance classes (jumping lower), since she's getting older
CL3-R, etc: midlevel titles earned in 3 of the 4 CPE titling tracks. If she had the 4th one, I could abbreviate it to just "CL3" instead of writing all that out, but she lacks a Jumpers leg, which it's looking like we'll never get.
CGC: yeah
TC: GSD club temperament test which is almost exactly like the TT, a few variations, no allowances for breed
TT: as you said

Tully is Superdog #6 on the UKC site (titled in conformation, obedience, weight pull, and agility)

Image

UWP UAGII AKC/UKC CH Flyin DayDream Londons Burning MX MXJ NF AAD CGC TT

UWP: lowest UKC weight pull title. She has points towards her CH, not sure how many or if we'll finish
UAGII: 2nd level UKC agility
AKC/UKC CH: conformation champion in both registries
MX: AKC masters agility title
MXJ: AKC masters agility title in the jumpers with weaves class (no contact obstacles)
NF: AKC novice title from the "FAST" class
AAD: "Advanced Agility Dog", 2nd level USDAA agility title

Tess will get her MACH eventually, and has 2 legs each towards the UCD & CD titles. We've been concentrating lately on brushing up her international agility coursework

Delicate Flower's Beauty School Drop-Out, TFP-II FM
"Frances"
Image
Dogtoberfest 322 by silly_wicket, on Flickr

TFP-II is Top Flight Premier Level 2. It's the 11th level title in the United Flyball League.
FM is Flyball Master. It's the 6th level title in the North American Flyball Association. We don't race NAFA much anymore.

Nibbler's Melamine Madness , TFP-III, FM, SPD-B, JD
"Hank"
Image
Dogtoberfest 321 by silly_wicket, on Flickr

Hank has the 12th level title in U-FLi. He's about 1,000 points away from Top Flight Expert which is a milestone plaque.
SPD-B is the Splash (under 10 feet) level in Splash Dogs. He's done 10 (?) jumps so we add "Bronze".
JD is the over 10, under 15 foot level in Splash Dogs. You have to do 5 jumps at that level to title.

McLovin's Token North Star SPD, JD-B, PB 15'5"
"Levi"
Image
Need for Speed 028 by silly_wicket, on Flickr

Levi has 10 jumps in the Junior division so gets Bronze in that division. He's the 5th fastest pit bull ever! We've pulled him from racing for a while to really work on a few other things so one day he could be faster!

Arnold Swartzen-puppy CGC TDI TF
Image

I would like to get him into Rally and AKC obed but I'm perma lazy about registering him with anything so we'll see what happens.

CGC: Canine good citizenship
TDI: Therapy Dog Inc
TF: Top Flight
His PB in U-Fli: 5.315 seconds! :D

Sloan von Krigbaum CGC
Image

Sloan just turned 1 year this month and will be going for her BH in the next 6 months. She's training in flyball as well as Schuzthund.

CGC: Canine good citizenship
Her Splash dogs PB is 21.5!

Chilie Brigades Aldo "Backup" CGC HIC
Image

Backup is training for his BH this fall and then his sch1. After that we'll see where we go. He's also preparing for an ideal debut in april or may for flyball, he's got everything down except the box turn. With his speed, strength and chaos we're being very careful about his turn and it's frustratingly slow but hopefully it will be perfection in time!

CGC: Canine good citizenship
HIC: Herding instinct certificate
His PB in Splash dogs is 18.5!

Roc has an AKC PAL # and his full name is...

Roc Steady CGC

Image

His claim to fame is his CGC. He has dabbled in SplashDogs, but never actually fully jumped. And he has watched weight pull - he thought it was quite interesting. But being over 10 yrs old, not sure what we will try next.

The rest of the time he is a champion napper

Hoping to add an OB1 and TR1 soon. And at some point, finish up the legs needed for his UWP.

(Oh, and thinking about changing his name to Tsampas' Ignorance At Its Best ... since he's a damn fool!)
