i would like to get Peanut jumping in the top of the senior division. a new personal best would make me happy and get to 1/4 mile jumped. making 4 feet vertical would be nice :) right now he is 2 inches shy.

i would like some time this year for Peanut to take and pass his CGC. if i can get him to ignore his DA (which he is doing much better with) then we can make it i think. that is our biggest struggle for that goal.

introduce many new foods to him and get him to consistantly chew his food so i can be more relaxed when he eats.

possibly try him out in some new sports find another thing that he loves to do.

We went 5 for 6 on last year's goals, so that's pretty cool.

Luce... I don't know if she's retired or not. I have her signed up for Rally 2 class starting in a few weeks. Maybe I'll put her RE title on her just to give her something to do. I don't think I'm ever going to proof her Go Out to the point where I feel comfortable taking her into the CDSP Open ring. I don't have any real, concrete goals for her. She's nine now. My only goal of note is that she live forever.

Steve:
RA title +/- RE title +/- APDT Level 2/ARCH (if there are convenient trials and my bank account can provide).
Fix his bobbling problem in flyball
Find the joy in agility. I don't care what skills progress we make- I want to learn to enjoy the game and enjoy the journey and stop fighting with my dog.
Hike a lot.

Buddy is too old and Obi is not well suited for sports so MY 2012 goal is to have BSL here overturned, adopt the neediest little pit puppy I can find and get his CGN, then have him certified as a therapy dog, then chose a sport and have some fun!

well, even though we gave up the harder stuff that requires jumping and high-impact activities, i'm still tracking with doc. i'd love to get him an FH in the fall. but i need to see if i can get him his TR 3 first, and i haven't been doing a whole lot with him lately. i think i need to find some more new tracking fields. i don't really have a lot of stuff i can use down here yet ... he still tracks like he loves it, though, so hopefully we can find something.

i'd like to do something fun with tucker ... would love to get him TDI'd and maybe do some therapy stuff with him. he's such a baby, adores people and attention so much, it'd be good for him.

and i just want button to be happy. which he is when he's able to just stay home and play. so stay home and play it is for him.

So for my goals for last year, we DID get our RA and one leg toward our RE :). We also did some agility training and a fun trial, and I got to see my first trial ever last year but did not participate (just volunteered!). I didn't get a puppy either, nor will I be getting one until probably another year or two.. :( Oh well. A good dog is worth waiting for right?

So with that said, here are our Goals for 2012:

-Finish the RE, possibly this Spring.

-If we Finish the RE, we will be going into CD territory by Fall.

-Re-try the RPT. Should we get it, I will be deciding on whether I'm gonna start training for CDX or just leave it. The retrieve is the only thing keeping me on the fence. We will see how that goes.

-Continue training in agility, mainly working on handling and focus work. I am not going to get very far with Riley in agility sadly due to funds and a lack of trials around where I live. I'm hoping to attend one with him this year to see how we do.. but agility will mostly be reserved for fun for him and a learning experience for me when I finally get my new puppy.

-Continue working on recalls. We are getting there, but it is definitely not solid and that is what I'm aiming for.

-Finally get around to teaching him NOT to bark at the door. It's something I've always been too lazy to do, but in preparation for another dog, I can't have three dogs going crazy whenever they hear a twig snap or a car door close.

-Tricks. I am the LAZIEST trick trainer ever. My goal is to train at least five new tricks this year.. haven't decided what they are yet.

I didn't accomplish any goals rofl. I decided to give Vi a break after working so hard the year before completing all the titles for her super dog in one year. We attended 2, yup 2 events all last year and 1 of those was the all star invitational pull.

This year... finally send in Vi's CPE registration and do some events there. Get her to retrieve
..although that may be a 2015 goal. And a couple others that are currently secret (although I will spill in Feb/March and guessing won't help, no one has figured them out yet).

Sune, get her to learn a down and a stay. And get her to stop pooping in Vi's room.

Lucy, just having her here wish us another year is enough for me. She is getting old fast and I just want to enjoy what time we have left.

I'm also going to be running my mom's papillons in agility since her arthritis doesn't allow her to run. No goals, just hoping for the best.

I think my 2012 goals are about the same as 2011 -- I *still* need to get Kane ready for his OB1 and TR1. The wedding this past October put a hold on a lot, but we're getting back on the ball. 2 of our females were able to achieve their ADBA CH this past show season, and one of our males is VERY close to his ADBA CH -- so hoping to get him finished. Getting into some serious weight pull training with my young dog and hope to get him on the track, pulling for points this season. Hope to be able to accomplish some of these things this year, or at least make good progress!

Well, I did all of nothing in the 2011 year so now that I'm back in the game I hope:

To find my next working prospect able to take on Sch, SDA, and Conformation. Ultimately to be able to be a part of the
pitbull team to go to the DVG Nationals.
Take Truffles to some OB trials for the heck of it. No reason why I haven't titled her other than opportunity. Gotta stay
in good practice. Besides, she's went nuts not working for so long.
Become a certified helper/decoy
Learn from the best!

There are a lot of motivated people here doing a lot with their dogs. I'm impressed!

Since Blue is technically my first dog, I'm just going to enjoy him this year and look into getting his CGC certification. I'd also like him to learn to go out on rides with the horses. Maybe we'll also start some agility with the obstacles we have in the arena for the horses.

The other thing I'd like to do is take Blue out more and have him be an "ambassador" for the breed. If I can talk hubby into it, I'd also like to foster another pittie for a local rescue so Blue will have someone to play with.

Gigz - Obtain his BH and be well on the way to his Sch I. I'd also like to get cracking on his PSA PDC. So that means working on obedience around increasing distraction and getting him reliable off leash.
Raven - Her obedience needs to be stepped up to off leash work as well. We'll keep working on her detection and hopefully get her certified this year.
Cobra - Puppy shaping, that's pretty much it. Let her be a dog and have fun and she'll get into some real work late this year or early next year.

We're well on our way with the weight pulling. I had the opportunity to attend a local APA pull (new local club) and pulled Risk (the pup) and Kane for points. Kane managed to get 20 pts towards his STAR and the pup got 14 pts. First ADBA show for us is in April, so hope they do well there. Getting back into drag weight and training, so I'm excited this year!
