EYE BOOGERS

So when do you think your dog has excessive eye boogers.

When it's starting to shut? But what can u do? any eye drops?

Ummm, something isnt right if the eye is starting to shut...you need to take your dog to the vet.

Sonny gets eye boogies all day every day, but his are like ours! His eyes arent shutting.

I agree. My two get them daily, but it sounds like you might be dealing with something a bit more serious...

What color are they? If they are greenish, have your dog's eye checked by a vet. They can prescribe a drop or ointment after checking to make sure there is no damage to the cornea.
If they are brown, it may be allergy related (in my experience). It could just be due to dirt, too. I know my yard has been dry lately and the dogs' boogies are from dirt.
