First i would suggest changing to a better food, if price is an issue try looking into recipies for healthy home made foods, they're cheap easy to make and your dog will love it, feeding a good balanced diet is key to healthy growth and development, a poor diet can lead to many more problems than it is worth, my second suggestion would be asking around here about what people feed by weight and age, I've got three adults and feed about a half gallon jug of the recipe i use per dog per day but my girls are big muscle heads that work hard so your boy will have different needs and since that is the case i will leave it to someone with more knowledge of feeding younger animals. Good luck.
