From the former owner of a trasheater, I have to say I'm really glad Horace is okay. You should have seen some of the things that came out of my dog's butt!

So far he has had about 7 tablespoonfuls of baby rice and baby chicken mush, and no barf. Later today he might graduate to uncle ben's!

That 95 degree body temp looked really grim, and the vet didn't tell me great things when I first brought him in. Or even that he would definitely be back home. The best thing she could say was that "he's young and he's strong".

So I truly believe that all the prayers for Horace worked. I felt alot of despair on Friday morning and didn't feel too able to pray myself, but my friend Parker reminded me: "After the first miracle (which is that a trash-mouthed anti-social falling-down drunk like me hasn't had a drink in 11 yrs.), it's vulgar to keep doubting."

If Horace's recovery doesn't prove that, then FRAN showing up from MANHATTAN just in time to drive my stranded butt to the vet to get Horace yesterday sure does!
