It totally will Denise! Hannah used to get red spots on her feet occasionally...since we started with the coconut oil, I haven't seen any!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coconut_oil

Among the most stable of all oils, coconut oil is slow to oxidize and thus resistant to rancidity, lasting up to two years due to its high saturated fat content.[citation needed] In order to extend shelf life, it is best stored in solid form (i.e. below 24.5°C [76°F]).

good to know! (can't believe I quoted myself first...)

I've used Spectrum brand unrefined coconut oil on my dry skin and hair. My skin allergies are bad but I can tolerate this stuff just fine. It smells good, too.

When I started, I gace her 1 tablespoon for the first week, then increased.

Amber, do you give Hannah fish oil too or just the coconut oil?

Shelly, do you do all 3 at once or alternate them? I was going to do fish oil in a.m. and then the coconut in the eve. Last thing I want though is 3 of them with the runs :frown:

I started the coconut oil at 1/2 tbsp twice a day in the beginning I think. I was already doing the salmon oil and vitamin e.

I know do...

AM
Salmon oil 2 pills
Vitamin e 200 iu
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1 osteo biflex pill
yogurt
cottage cheese
kibble

PM
Salmon oil 2 pills
1/2 tbsp coconut oil
1 osteo biflex pill
kibble
1/4 can canned food
