Keep sending those positive thoughts, I appreciate it. So far so good. The chest x-ray is clear, she's recovering/sleeping, and I can pick her up at 4:30.

She's lying on the sofa, lying across 2 dog beds, w/a blanket on her. Soleil is lying next to her. She's clearly not feeling great, but eagerly ate her half dinner when I brought it to her, then got up and came looking for more.

She's got a big wrap around her belly. The vets gave her a shot of amoxicillin, and one of rimadyl, but she's not on meds afterwards. The nice tech told me it was just a pea sized growth, but the doctor took a walnut sized chunk of flesh, just to be sure. She said it was a very vascularized area, so there was quite a bit of bleeding.

Soleil was very interested, and I had to yell at her, as she just wanted to check Xanny out, especially in the area of her incision. They'll be closely monitored. Xanny's supposed to keep the wrap on 3-5 days, stitches in 10-14, and take it easy while the stitches are in. 5-7 business days for the biopsy results. I'm off until the 5th, so I can keep an eye on her.

awww poor sweet girl.
I am glad she is home and interested in her food though!!
Tell her I hope she is soon feeling better and give her a nice hug and kiss from me.
Good that you can be home with her during most of her recovery .
Now back to positive thoughts and prayers for good biopsy results.
