Personally I like the Cropped ears look.
But it has its ups and downs..

First if you DO NOT have much time on your hands like me, I DONT
recomend it. For the first couple of days you need to be by your dog 24/7 to make sure hes not scratchin or trying to pull off the cone.

Second being you need to keep up with the medication or the dog can
get a bad ear infection and cause more pain the dog.

Three being the worst is just having to put your dog thru that type of torture its really not worth it just to have your dog look like the way you want it to look. I mean before I got it done to my dog I woulda said "Thats Manditory" for a pitbull. But now I would think twice. But whats done is done and Im glad.

again..people thx for all the stories, input and pics....it has been very educational and informative, but we have to look at the big picture, its whats best for the dog right? thats why we are all here....showing our dogs getting together, educating people about the bully breed and ultimately doing right by another living creature....so in closing thx again....

MY DECISION>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

KEEP UM FLOPPITY FLOPPITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

much love........ :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

So basically, I either want a nice crop or perfect rose prick :) I just got my pup cropped two weeks ago. This is a pic from a day before the stitches were taken out. It is the first dog I have had cropped from laser surgery. I like the results!!

That laser surgery is great isn't it. I had Molly spayed by laser. She was operated on at 8:00 am and came home at 3:00 pm. I was told to keep her quiet but the first thing she did when she came into the house was chase the cat. She never did act like she had just had major surgery. I expected her to be out of it for a day or so but nope.

gosh, i wonder how many people said that about our dogs today. i'm glad to see the same attitudes are alive and well here - wanting to impose your own personal choices on other people as law...

i like the look of the cropped ears, and me and my girlfriend have had many discussion about this. but when it came down to it, we came to the conclusion that it's basically a cosmetic surgery. =T

besides, the ears give them sooo much character. how could you not love the ears?

got him already cropepd and wish he still had his ears.

to me, he is an example of one of those "gnarly" crops.

Well, his crop does look like a pair of scissors cut upwards, and then across the top, definately not a crop I would like, but hey, he's cute anyways :) Did you rescue or adopt him that way?
Why you gotta bash the guys dog. I think your dogs ears are fine

I have 2 females who are natural, and my boy is cropped. He came with them all bandaged up..and he was fine..didnt have any problems at all. They are show crop....so they are VERY expressive. They go down when hes being a baby, straight up when hes alert...NO difference from my other two that arent cropped. I have 2 small puppies (big housew and land)and my fiancee want sto crop the boy, I am thinking to leave the girl natural. I like the look of both though.
